SCHOOL VISION/MISSION
"The vision/mission of Panther Run Elementary School is to work collaboratively with the students, staff, parents, community and business partners to provide a positive, stimulating, nurturing, technology-rich environment that will enable our students to reach their maximum potential in all areas of the curriculum and prepare them to become effective members of society in the future. STUDENT PERFORMANCE
Implementing reading, writing, math and science strategies to increase student achievement and state assessment scores.
STAFF DEVELOPMENT
Increasing professional skills in all academic areas with emphasis on technology.
SCHOOL SAFETY & DISCIPLINE
School wide safety and discipline plans have been developed and are in place for the school year. Parents and community partners are strongly encouraged to participate in our School Advisory Council(SAC), Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and School Advisory Forum (SAF). Meetings are held monthly. Please contact the school for dates and times of these meetings.The community and parents are continually updated with information on the activities of these groups throughout the school year via newsletters, evening meetings, and parent links.

7:30 a.m. Building Opens (Supervision is NOT provided prior to 7:30 a.m.)
7:30 a.m. - 7:50 a.m. Breakfast
7:50 a.m. First bell rings - Students enter classrooms
8:00 a.m. Tardy bell - Classes begin
1:55 p.m. Prepare for dismissal
2:00 p.m. Classes end - Dismissal for all students
2:00 - 6:00 p.m. Sunshine Child After School Program
